Job Summary Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in Anthropology in the Department of Geography and Anthropology for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities Teach a four-field Introduction to Anthropology general education course and courses in the subfields of cultural anthropology, archaeology, linguistics, and physical anthropology. Assignments to faculty in the pool are based on departmental needs and are for one or two courses per semester. Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online) and courses may be assigned at the Kennesaw or Marietta campus. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications A Master\'s or terminal degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Anthropology or a closely related field is required at the time of hire. OR A minimum of a Master\'s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching online or hybrid courses for online or hybrid sections. Record of past teaching at the undergraduate level.
