Web Content Specialist

Location: Oakland, CA 94606

Durations : Long Term Contract

Position/work hrs.: Hybrid, 1-day per week in-person

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Web Content Specialist to maintain and improve our websites. This role involves updating content, ensuring accessibility, and supporting site migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate sites into WordPress (Divi Theme) with accurate layouts and functionality.
• Update content in WordPress (Divi Theme), SharePoint, and HTML.
• Optimize and publish media assets (videos, PDFs, images).
• Ensure WCAG/Section 508 compliance across updates.
• Troubleshoot formatting and display issues across browsers/devices.

Qualifications

• Experience with WordPress (Divi Theme), SharePoint, and HTML/CSS.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently and collaboratively.

Preferred

• Experience migrating sites to Divi Theme.
• Familiarity with media optimization.
