Test Consultant's role and tasks... As a Test Consultant, you are responsible for the qualitative testing services of products and solutions before their ‘go live’. You ensure the successful finishing of a project by executing the integration & system tests and guaranteeing that these tests were conducted according to internal standards and methodologies. Position Name: Test Consultant Location: Baltimore, Maryland Hours: 8 – 5 pm (one hour lunch), after hours and weekends as required Employment Status: FULL TIME Within your job as Test Consultant, you will: Analyze functional & business requirements Develop test cases Convert test cases into test scenarios and execute these scenarios Report status of test progress and log defects accurately Communicate with the (test) team, test coordinator and project manager Maintain a professional relationship with functional & technical teams Contribute to the business and test knowledge within the teamWho are we looking for... A dynamic team player looking to grow in an evolving, international environment and who: Has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Is detail oriented and accurate Has a strong interest in understanding customers’ business processes (functional knowledge) Is a team player An initiative taker: capable to extract information from key-persons and not afraid to go in depth Willing to and capable of continuous learning Deep knowledge of a business application (ERP is an asset) Experience in a testing role or knowledge of the utilities industry is a plus Must also be able to pass a security background check and pass a for-cause and pre-employment drug test.
