Job Title: Software Developer The National Security Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Software Developer in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role involves supporting the Fires Division Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) and Post-Production Software Support (PPSS) maintenance and sustainment missions, providing engineering and technical services to the CECOM Software Engineering Center Mission Command Division based in Aberdeen, MD, with operations at Ft. Sill/Lawton, OK. Successful candidates will offer expertise in Mission Command, Fires, and C2 Maneuver systems, supporting the Family of US Army’s FIRES Systems including AFATDS, AN/TQP-53, and LCMR Q49A. Primary Responsibilities Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software for engineering applications. Collaborate with analysts to understand requirements. Develop tools and interfaces; assist in designing, developing, and testing OS-level software, compilers, and network applications. Define operational specifications and analyze software requirements. Design embedded systems software. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Mentor and review work of junior technical staff. Manage teams and projects to meet objectives and deliverables. Communicate with team members and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction. Basic Qualifications 8-12 years of relevant software development experience. Active secret clearance. Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or related field. Certifications such as CISSP-ISSEP, FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, or SSCP may substitute for the degree.
