Piper Companies is looking for a Site Security Officer to join a government contractor in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD . This role requires the candidate to report onsite and have an active Top Secret Clearance
Essential Duties of the
Site Security Officer : - Ensure compliance with DoD, Federal, and Intelligence Community regulations that govern the critical security disciplines of both NISP/NISPOM and SCI classified contract-related security support
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Manage the information systems security program, document control, visit requests and physical security
- Submit clearances to SMO via JPAS/DISS
- Conduct internal inspections of PM Open Storage and Secured Facilities
Qualifications of the
Site Security Officer : - BA/BS from an accredited college or university and 6 years' experience as a Security Specialist, Personnel Security Specialist, and/or Physical Security Specialist within the DOD environment
- Strong working knowledge of National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD personnel and information security regulations
- Must possess expert knowledge of Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), e-FCL, ISFD, ACAVS, and other security systems
- Must have experience with Program Protection Plans including but not limited to: Continuity of Operations Plan and Business Impact Analysis for Mission Essential Functions, OPSEC plan, Policy for conduct of OCONUS travel threat briefings
Compensation for the
Site Security Officer : - $120,000 - $140,000 (based on experience)
- Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP, PTO, paid holidays, sick Leave as required by law
