Job Description

As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI , you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Position Type: Full Time - Overnight 

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements 

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including property damage, theft, or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and local authorities as necessary to report incidents or request assistance.
• Follow all guidelines and protocols set forth by Allied Universal and site management for unarmed patrol posts at government facilities.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, observations, and incidents according to company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
