Job Description
Position Summary: The Receptionist maintains the daily operations of the school's main office area. The Receptionist supports and reports to the Director of Finance and the CEO.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Answering general inquiries, directing and screening phone calls, greeting visitors.
- Maintaining a positive, organized, and welcoming environment for parents, visitors, coworkers and students
- eSchool/Infinite Campus reporting including but not limited to report cards, progress reports, and attendance
- Support Student Enrollement process
- Creates/Maintains accurate student records including cumulative files.
- Prepares and distributes mass communications.
- Creates and updates school event notificaiton for display in the main lobby.
- Create and maintain effective administrative systems to improve overall efficiency of the front office.
- Ensure clear communication of school policies to staff, students, and families.
- Consistently uses technological outles for overall school communication(ex group me, email, phone calls, announcements)
- Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications: - Ability to relate to a diverse population of students and parents a must
- Advanced proficiency in computer skills specifically, Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to learn new programs/software quickly
- Proven experience multi-tasking, organizing, and prioritizing work
- Ability to handle requests and inquires and respond within a timely manner
- High attention to detail
- Performs duties with a high degree of professionalism
- Daily attendance and punctuality are required for the purpose of ensuring the goals of the work can be met
Length of Work Year: 12 months, select Saturdays, and occasional evening and weekend commitments will also be required.
