As a Sanitation Team Member for Pilgrim’s afternoon shift, you are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production, office, and common areas to maintain high standards of food safety and facility hygiene. The role involves working in refrigerated and fast-paced environments, lifting up to 40 lbs, and adhering to safety and GMP training requirements. Pilgrim’s wants  YOU to grow with our Team as a  Sanitation Team Member on our afternoon shift! This position starts at $22.63/hour, plus a $1.00/hour shift differential! Sunset Pay, paid for 40 hours weekly, plus any overtime.

Key Responsibilities and abilities include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and sanitizing production and/or office and common areas of facility.
• Complete mandatory safety training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training as outlined for the job assignment.  

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from 10 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion work.
• Ability to work overtime as assigned.  
• Ability to work in wet and humid work environment
• Ability to climb on ladders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.  

Experience/Work History:

• Prefer previous manufacturing and/or sanitation experience.
