Role Overview
Seeking an experienced integration specialist to design, implement, and maintain system integrations, data pipelines, and cross-platform connectivity for tax technology solutions. This role focuses on implementing integration patterns, building data pipelines between systems, and ensuring seamless data flow across the enterprise technology landscape.
Primary Responsibilities
Integration Development & Architecture:
• Design and implement integration patterns between enterprise platforms and multiple systems
• Build data pipelines for cross-system data flow and transformation
• Implement new APIs and web services following provided specifications
• Design event-driven integration patterns and pub/sub architectures
• Maintain and enhance existing system integrations
• Architect solutions for enterprise data integration and visibility
Cloud & Middleware Integration:
• Implement cloud service integrations (AWS)
• Work with cloud integration services (data flow tools, storage services, messaging queues, serverless functions)
• Implement integration platforms and middleware solutions
• Build ETL processes for data transformation and loading
• Design and implement monitoring and error handling for integrations
Technical Problem Solving:
• Resolve critical integration issues and bugs following triage and prioritization
• Debug complex issues across distributed systems and integrated platforms
• Conduct thorough unit testing before handoff to quality assurance
• Troubleshoot data flow issues and connectivity problems
• Optimize integration performance and reliability
Required Technical Skills
Platform & Development Expertise:
• 6+ years experience with enterprise application platforms
• Primary platform experience required: Salesforce (including Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, APIs)
• Additional platform experience valued: MS Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM, or similar enterprise platforms
• Strong programming skills in modern languages
• Experience with platform query languages and data manipulation
Integration Technologies:
• Strong experience implementing cloud services and serverless architectures
• Proficiency implementing REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, and pub/sub patterns
• Experience implementing integration platforms and middleware (MuleSoft, Informatica, Dell Boomi, or similar)
• Knowledge of API gateways, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
• Understanding of authentication protocols and security patterns
Data Engineering:
• Experience implementing data pipelines and ETL processes
• Strong knowledge of data transformation and data mapping
• Proficiency with data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and data serialization
• Understanding of data quality and validation techniques
• Experience with high-volume data processing
Debugging & Troubleshooting:
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across distributed systems
• Experience with integration monitoring and logging tools
• Ability to diagnose complex technical issues spanning multiple systems
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
Required Certifications
• Platform-specific developer certification (Level 1) - Required
