Remote Dental Credentialing Coordinators Needed for Insurance Company

Our client, a growing Insurance Company located in Lombard, Illinois, is looking to hire a temporary (until the end of the year), possibly temp-to-hire Remote Credentialing Coordinator . The Credentialing Coordinator ensures the delivery of high-quality care to the client's members by monitoring and maintaining the integrity of dental provider data in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will work with the Credentialing and Clinical Review teams to ensure provider audits are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

• Collect required data for reviews of licensures, certifications, background searches, & training records.
• Ensure potential new provider applications meet credentialing standards.
• Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of data utilizing various resources.
• Review initial & recredentialing applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations, guidelines, policies, & NCQA standards.
• Identify discrepancies & communicate issues to Credentialing Manager.
• Enter, update, and maintain data from provider applications into the credentialing database.
• Prepare & follow up on verifications of applications in accordance with standards and timelines.
• Participate in developing and implementing process improvements for the credentialing system.
• Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and other applicable policies.

Job Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of credentialing, health provider relations, or related experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Research skills and knowledge of dental provider credentialing principles.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management.
