Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a Package Handler/Warehouse Worker to join their team. As a Package Handler/Warehouse Worker, you will be part of the operations support team, contributing to efficient package processing and delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong physical stamina, attention to safety, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Package Handler/Warehouse Worker

Location: Madison, WI

Pay Range: $19/hr

Shift: 2AM - 8AM

What's the Job?

• Physically loading and unloading packages from trailers and into sorting areas
• Sorting packages by zip code or destination using appropriate equipment
• Adhering to safety protocols and inspecting packages for secure transport
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily volume targets
• Remaining active and on your feet for extended periods in a fast-paced environment

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items, often up to 50 lbs or more
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Flexibility to work varying shifts based on package volume, especially during peak seasons
• Comfort working in environments that can be hot or cold
• Willingness to work part-time, seasonal shifts, including weekends as needed
