🔍 About the Role:

As a key clinical provider in the orthopedic and spine surgery department, you will assist in surgical procedures, manage pre- and post-operative patient care, and contribute to outpatient clinical operations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on orthopedic spine surgery experience, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and is passionate about delivering high-quality care.

✅ Qualifications:

• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program
• Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Active, unrestricted license to practice as a PA in any U.S. state or territory
• Minimum 1 year of orthopedic spine surgical experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or Military equivalent)
• Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• First-assist in spinal and orthopedic surgeries
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with spine-related conditions
• Perform clinical procedures including casting, splinting, injections, and imaging reviews
• Conduct pre-op and post-op evaluations and patient education
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, operating room staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Assist in pain management procedures as needed
• Document all patient care in accordance with federal medical standards
• Maintain proficiency in surgical and sterile techniques
• Educate patients and families on post-surgical care and rehabilitation

🏥 Work Environment:

• Monday through Friday daytime schedule
• Outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Federal treatment facility located on a secure government base
