We are currently seeking an Organizational Development Specialist (Cross-Cultural Integration) , who is essential for designing and delivering organizational development, cross-cultural integration, and employee education programs that enable Korean expatriates and U.S.-based Local employees to work cohesively.
Essential Purpose of the Position:
U.S. operations are deeply connected with our Korean headquarters, and the success of this connection depends on our ability to align corporate culture, leadership philosophy, and business strategy across two distinct cultural contexts. The role requires rare expertise that combines advanced bilingual (Korean-English) communication skills, deep knowledge of Korean corporate culture, and professional training and curriculum design experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cultural and Organizational Integration
Serve as a bridge between Korean headquarters and U.S. operations, ensuring organizational values and strategic objectives are fully understood and implemented locally.
Translate complex corporate directives into actionable, culturally appropriate programs for U.S.-based employees.
Support Korean expatriates in adapting to the U.S. business environment and help local employees understand Korean business culture.
Training & Organizational Development
Design, develop, and deliver cross-cultural onboarding, leadership training, and employee development programs.
Build curricula using advanced educational methodologies, tailored for multicultural teams.
Facilitate team-building initiatives and organizational change workshops to foster collaboration and alignment.
Strategic Consultation
Advise senior leaders on cultural integration strategies and organizational change management.
Conduct organizational assessments and recommend interventions to improve communication and team performance.
Develop frameworks to maintain the continuity of the Korean headquarters' business practices within the U.S. organization.
Education and Experience Requirements:
3 - 5 years of teaching or training experience with documented success in curriculum development and public speaking in international settings.
Advanced degree in English, Communications, Organizational Development, Intercultural Studies, or a related field.
Proven record of academic research and/or international conference presentations that demonstrate advanced communication, cultural analysis, and storytelling abilities.
Experience with public speaking in international settings a plus.
Experience in Korean multinational organizations is preferred.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Bilingual in Korean and English, both spoken and written, with proven ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences (e.g., international academic conferences).
Extensive experience in teaching, curriculum development, and program design for multicultural audiences.
First-hand knowledge of Korean corporate structures, business etiquette, and decision-making processes.
Strong facilitation, coaching, and organizational development skills.
Ability to "translate" organizational culture and abstract corporate values into practical, implementable actions for a U.S. workforce.
