Spry Squared is seeking a strong Network Engineer to manage, coordinate, and perform many aspects of network analysis of needs and services and participates in operations and administration of the LAN/WAN infrastructure. This individual would participate in designing solutions, planning, and executing new implementations, working out new product integration and recommending LAN/WAN improvements.

• Proactively identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues on customer networks.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues. Analyze computer and network environment to optimize network performance, security, and testing functionality.
• Cloud networking and support.
• Deploy and maintain environments including large enterprise campus LAN & WAN, VOIP, remote access, and highly available data center networks.
• Analyze and provide recommendations for the continuous security improvement of the network.
• Expert knowledge of Firewalls, intrusion detection, network access control and other network security technologies.
• Present and articulate advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions.
• Produce solutions to fulfill customer needs within budget and schedule constraints.
• Work directly with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Technical Skills Desired:

• Experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standards.
• Familiarity with networking technologies including router/switch administration, ethernet and wireless networking and related protocols, hardware installation and support, system security techniques and firewall administration, basic database management.
• Experience with designing, configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting network infrastructure technology.
• Experience supporting a switched or routed network environment.
• Experience with installation, configuration, problem resolution and maintenance of all network resources, systems and other IT-related technologies.

• This is an onsite role, no remote work
• Knowledge of network concepts, architecture, operations, and tools
• Minimum DOD 8140/ DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (examples include: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, Security+, Network+ CE, CISSP, CASP, or SSCP)
• BS/MS degree in a technical field, or equivalent military or career experience
• 7+ years of Network Administration/Engineering experience
• Experience in professional services, technical consulting, or network engineering/operations preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, drive IT projects forward in large organizations, and translate technical features into tangible customer business benefits
• Self-motivated and capable of high performance under minimal supervision
• Excellent business writing and presentation skills
• Professionalism appropriate for working with Fortune 500 clients
