We are in search of a talented editor to join our team and provide copy editing and proofreading services for contemporary romance stories on an ongoing basis. If you have a passion for storytelling and an impeccable eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
Job Details:
Editing Style: Edits will be performed using Microsoft Word with tracking changes and following the guidelines of the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS). Therefore, applicants must have significant experience with CMOS.
Responsiveness: We value quick communication and the ability to turn around projects on short notice. Occasionally, we may require edits on short notice, so flexibility is essential.
Professionalism: We are seeking a professional editor with excellent communication skills. Clear and effective communication is key to our successful collaboration.
Compensation: Our rate is $100 per 50,000-word Book for both copy editing and proofreading. We offer a steady and reliable workload and this is a 6-Book series.
