With over 100% employee growth in the last five years, BKS Security is one of the fastest-growing Commercial Security Solutions companies in the Seattle area.We are currently seeking an Experienced Licensed Electronic Field Technician EL06 to join our dedicated team of professionals.Job Description:As an Experienced Licensed Electronic Field Technician EL06, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining electronic security systems, including CCTV (analog and IP), burglar alarms, access control, and electronic hardware installations. This full-time role offers the potential to grow into a Project Lead/Manager position.While an EL06 license is required, we will consider applicants with significant applicable experience who are ready and willing to obtain their license (compensation TBD).Pay Range: $38 - $45/hour (DOE)Benefits We Offer:Comprehensive Health Coverage: Employee medical, dental, and vision insuranceAdditional Benefits:Company-paid life insurancePaid vacation (after one year) and additional vacation pool upon qualificationImmediate sick leave accrual and no wait period for holiday payGym membership program401(k) Profit Sharing PlanCompany Provided Vehicle, Tools, Cell PhoneCompany Provided Laptop, iPad, if needed.Optional Benefits:HSA and FSA optionsShort- and long-term disability insuranceAccident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insuranceGroup legal planEmployee assistance program and discount programs through LifeMartRoles and Responsibilities:As an Experienced Licensed Electronic Field Technician EL06, your duties will include:Installing, inspecting, and servicing security systems, including video surveillance, access control, and intercom systems.Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing systems as necessary.Installing and maintaining electronic hardware such as electric strikes, door hardware, and related systems.Configuring and programming CCTV, alarm, and access control systems.Conducting site surveys, documenting work, and maintaining accurate records in the ESC Dispatch system.Ensuring all systems are online and notifying supervisors of malfunctions or issues.Maintaining truck stock inventory and ensuring vehicles are in good working condition.Providing exceptional customer service and adhering to all company policies and health/safety requirements.Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:Strong project management and field supervision skills.Washington State EL06 Low Voltage License (or ability to obtain; pay TBD if not licensed).Required Qualifications:At least 2 years of experience in the Electronic Security Industry, including work in commercial, residential, retail, or C-store environments.Expertise in installing, servicing, and programming CCTV equipment, burglar alarms, and access control systems.Knowledge of applicable codes and electronic hardware.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.Physical ability to perform job-related tasks.Why Join Us?At BKS Security, youre not just an employeeyoure part of a team that values your contributions.
