About This Role

We're seeking a motivated Junior AI Python Developer to join our growing AI engineering team. This role focuses on building innovative AI agents and applications using modern frameworks, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge projects involving language models, vector databases, and intelligent automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI applications using Python and modern AI frameworks
• Build intelligent agents and automation systems
• Work with vector databases and unstructured data processing
• Collaborate on machine learning model evaluation and implementation
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Document technical solutions and maintain clean, scalable code

Technical Knowledge Areas

We're looking for candidates with knowledge or interest in the following areas:

Core Python Development

• 1-3 years of hands-on Python programming experience
• Understanding of software development best practices
• Experience with APIs and data processing

AI/ML Frameworks & Tools

• LangChain framework concepts and applications
• LangGraph for building AI workflows
• MCP (Model Context Protocol) for AI tool integration
• Vector databases (ChromaDB, Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar)
• Working with unstructured data and embeddings

AI Development Concepts

• Prompt engineering and optimization techniques
• Experience with Large Language Models (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source)
• Understanding of model evaluation and performance concepts
• Knowledge of overfitting/underfitting in machine learning models

Preferred Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems
• Knowledge of embedding models and semantic search
• Familiarity with API integrations and microservices
• Understanding of version control and collaborative development
