Position Summary

Responsible for leading the HR department and drive strategic initiatives that align with IPCC/IPMI business goals. Oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to shape company culture and enhance employee engagement.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends to ensure HR policies and practices remain competitive.

Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and career development programs.
  • Implement succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems and employee feedback programs.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment.
  • Oversee HR policies and procedures to maintain fairness and consistency.
  • Handle workplace investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Develop competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain employees.
  • Negotiate with benefits providers to optimize employee offerings.
  • Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with wage regulations.

HR Operations & Technology

  • Implement and manage HR systems for efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor HR metrics and report insights to leadership.
  • Optimize processes to enhance employee experience and organizational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in Human Resources with five (5) years in a leadership role. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation. Native American preference will be given.

  • Knowledge of principles, practices and trends in recruitment and employment; compensation and benefits; record-keeping systems; and performance development and evaluation systems.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and exercise independent, sound judgement.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies at an organizational level.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instruction.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and with co-workers at all levels.
