Part-Time High School Sports Editorial Assistant The Cincinnati Enquirer / cincinnati.com part of the USA TODAY NETWORK, is seeking a high school sports editorial assistant to work part-time. These employees are responsible for taking and accurately transcribing scores over the phone and through email for publication in print and online, gathering and compiling high school sports rosters, writing high school sports briefs and summaries on deadline, gathering information for special sections and other duties as assigned, such as occasional sports features and game coverage. Editorial assistants must work well both independently with minimal supervision and in collaboration with others. The general hours for this position are 5 p.m./6 p.m. to 10 p.m./11 p.m. weekdays; and 8 p.m./9 p.m. to midnight Fridays and/or Saturdays, with slightly earlier hours during spring sports season. The editorial assistant will be mostly based at home and report to the assistant sports editor in charge of high school sports. About Us: Enquirer Media, a part of the Gannett Co.
