The position reports to the firm’s CFO and Managing Partner and offers an excellent growth opportunity for the right candidate. Responsibilities Manage hedge fund tax compliance and planning, in collaboration with the CFO Oversee preparation of partnership tax returns, K-1s, and various tax workpapers Conduct tax research and analysis for the funds and principal partners Prepare periodic tax estimates and deliverables Provide strategic advice on complex tax concepts Communicate tax matters with internal and external parties Analyze and monitor taxable income, partnership allocations, wash sales, and straddles Assist with daily and monthly NAV reconciliation process Manage relationships with Big Four accounting firms and the annual audit process Support the CFO in day-to-day hedge fund operations, including internal accounting, performance reporting, margin monitoring, securities lending, daily trade settlements, and regulatory filings Contribute to ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives to support the firm’s growth Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA required MS in Taxation is a plus 3+ years of hedge fund tax experience.
