Position Details Position Information Posting Number Stu380P Working Title Gallery Guard Assistant FLSA Non-Exempt Student Pay Level A Advertised Pay Rate 10.00 Position Status Federal Work Study Department Student Emp Dept of Contemporary Art and Theater Job Summary/Basic Function To monitor the university's art gallery, assist when needed in other areas of the art department and answer any related questions that visitors may have regarding the gallery. Assists with general upkeep of the gallery space. To represent the university in a professional and knowledgeable manner regarding the art gallery. Minimum Qualifications To be discussed with Gallery Director. Preferred Qualifications Gallery Assistants should have general knowledge about art and are expected to familiarize themselves with the information provided by the Director of the current exhibition.
