JOB SUMMARY:
\nThis position is a customer service-oriented Fire Sprinkler Inspector with a minimum of 5 years of experience with water-based fire protection systems. The ideal Inspector will be organized, professional, and a good communicator; and will provide accurate and detailed inspections reports with all proper documentation of NFPA deficiencies. This important position will also establish rapport and build positive relationships with our customers.

The position is located out of our Charlotte district office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
\nPerform routine inspections, testing, maintenance, and services of fire sprinkler, standpipe, and fire pump systems in compliance with NFPA 25 with minimal supervision.
\nDaily communications with Manager and/or Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays, requirements and general status of job.
\nConducts service calls and makes repairs assigned.
\nPerform smaller repairs, upfits, and internal pipe inspections as directed.
\nResponsible for following the safety protocols of the company.
\nResponsible for the maintenance of assigned vehicle.
\nPerforms other tasks and duties as requested by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
\nA minimum of 5 years of experience in inspections, testing, maintenance, and services of water-based systems.
\nMust possess, or have the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment, a North Carolina Inspector license and both North and South Carolina backflow preventer certifications.
\nWilling to coordinate between inspection deficiencies and service required to correct found deficiencies.
\nCapability to present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
\nAble to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary; proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office tools, with experience in Service Trade and Inspect Point preferred.
\nDemonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills.
\nPossess a valid driver’s license and meet company driving requirements.
