We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team and play a vital role during the pre-construction phase of our projects. In this position, you'll be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates that support successful bidding and project execution. Your insights will help shape smart decisions, ensure high-quality outcomes, and keep us aligned with our commitment to safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation: Develop comprehensive cost estimates for civil construction projects, factoring in materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.
  • Bid Development: Lead the preparation and review of bid proposals. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather essential information for submission.
  • Project Analysis: Interpret blueprints, specifications, and related documents to assess scope, cost implications, and project requirements.
  • Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Obtain and review quotes from vendors and subcontractors and negotiate pricing to ensure the best value for the company.
  • Cost Monitoring: Track project costs during construction and provide regular reporting to stakeholders and project managers to support budget adherence.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential cost-related risks and uncertainties, offering strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—including project managers, engineers, and designers—to ensure alignment and accuracy in every estimate.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in estimating within the civil construction industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient with estimation software and familiar with current construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical skills with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Effective Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Problem Solver: Skilled at identifying challenges and developing practical, results-oriented solutions.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • Clear pathways for professional development and career advancement
  • A collaborative, supportive team culture
  • The opportunity to work on meaningful, community-focused projects
