Responsibilities

• Lead teams focused on consumer application development.
• Build scalable backend services, or manage cross-platform mobile development in React Native.
• Work with at least two technologies from our stack:
• Backend: Java, Go, MySQL, Redis
• Frontend: React Native (JavaScript / TypeScript), Java, Objective-C, React
• Unity: C#
• Provide hands-on technical leadership (30-40% hands-on).
• Hire, retain, and develop engineers.
• Build relationships and influence stakeholders across disciplines:
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Manage risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Work with Product Leadership to develop and track schedules, dependencies, and critical paths.

Qualifications

• 6 - 8 or more years of software development experience with prior experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience leading high-performing teams.
• Experience working with Unity or other game engines.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Platform as a Service (PaaS) experience.

Total Starting Compensation including Base + Bonus + Equity: $259,000

Location: Las Vegas HQ - Onsite for 5 days per week
