Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented intern to support our Senior Director, HRIS's analytics team. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in business analysis, and the opportunity to work on real-world projects while honing your skills in data analysis, data modeling, HR projects, Q&A, and business strategy. Strong preference for individuals who love to work with data to tell a story, and who enjoy modeling, forecasting and projections. Experience with Workday would be highly preferred. 

*This role is Remote - United States. Must be able to work Pacific Daylight Time Zone hours. This role will have the ability to work up to 40 hours per week and will be for a six month period. Extension on the internship is to be determined later. 

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES; include but not limited to:

• Data maintenance
• Trending and analysis
• Create reports using Excel and PowerPoint to help others understand business performance
• Power BI dashboard updates
• Perform quality assurance
• Excel/Power BI Dashboard creation and maintenance
• Work closely with Project Managers to review project status
• Schedule and attend meetings, as required.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Actively pursuing a Masters or PHD program
• BA/BS in related field
• Understanding and command of industry-standard technologies such as JavaScript, Java, Flex, Flash, AngularJS, HTML, jQuery, SAP and Power BI.
• In-depth understanding of data-management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring).
• Proficiency with applicable software applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).

PREFERRED

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Workday reporting or familiarity with Workday 
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including internal resources and clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
• Time management and organizational skills and the ability to deal effectively with stressful situations.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Additional Information

COMPANY INFORMATION 

The  US pay   for this Intern position is $28.00 per hour.  Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.
Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
