Job Description
The School of Management and Leadership at Capital University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position. The nine-month contract is renewable annually, and commences on January or August 2026.
The School of Management and Leadership is one of largest academic unit at Capital University, offering undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Sport Business, and Marketing, along with several business-related minors. Additionally, the school offers a longstanding MBA program.
The successful candidate will teach a range of Sport Business courses within the COSMA core, including but not limited to special topics, critical issues in sport, sport business introduction, facility and stadium operations, and internship or capstone supervision. Opportunities to teach in the MBA program or general business courses may also be available. The role will be expected to serve as an academic advisor for undergraduate majors and support students in research. Additionally, the successful candidate will engage in scholarly activity, professional development, and service activities for the university.
