Overview Account Manager - Retail SMB Business Sales at Verizon. Role involves introducing small and medium business customers to the latest high-tech 5G products and services, solving their unique business needs, and driving small business results through the retail channel. Your Role and Responsibilities Interact with small and medium business customers in-store, digitally, and through outbound prospecting. Demonstrate the value of Verizon products and services by offering end-to-end technology solutions to energize businesses. Drive small business results by prospecting, networking, and working leads and referrals. Drive accountability by partnering with and mentoring Consumer Retail Sales Representatives. Grow the customer base by acquiring and retaining SMB accounts. Utilize solutions-based selling techniques to solve business problems for customers. Outbound sales prospecting and customer visits; service the needs of the existing customer base. Use sales enablement systems and tools to track, forecast, manage pipeline and book of business. Work in-store at least five days per week in a defined hybrid role. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience; three or more years of relevant experience required (sales, marketing or customer service). Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel. Inside/outside sales experience including outbound prospecting is a plus; wireless sales experience exceeding quota is a plus. Ability to influence a team to drive sales results and build trust at all levels.
